Ohio Public Service No. 21 (Niles 51 ft Combine)

I received the first test print of the Niles 51 ft Combine and painted it in the colors of the Ohio Public Service.

Many Thanks to Ryan Hoover who convinced me to build this nice car and helped much with documentation.

The car is posed on Taylor trucks, the prototypical Peckham truck frames are ready, but I have to order new NWSL Stanton drives.

The "Providence" fender will turn black, also soon.

Here's a crazy question. How much would shape ways charge to make the entire HO scale trolley in brass?

  2. Good question. Currently, pieces longer than 125 mm cannot be "printed" in brass. In fact, they don't print brass, they print a castable structure that will be lost wax casted. I am studying solutions: making a shorter model first (no longer than 36 ft long) or split a model... But you have to pay a higher price, anyway...

Hmmm. Yeah. I think we will have to wait for the technology to catch up for H0, S, and 0. But this might be very useful for N.
