SEPTA N5 Norristown Highspeed car in N scale

Liberty Belle Limited and SEPTA N5 side by side
Glassing the SEPTA N5 Norristown Highspeed car. Laser cut glasses are applied from outside and fixed with MicroKristalKlear from inside. 

Amazing how small the Liberty Bell Limited « devils » were. Both cars shared the same tracks, but could never meet because never run the same time.

SEPTA Kawasaki Single End LRV from IHP


Mike Bartel (Imperial Hobby Productions) launched this fine H0 model of a SEPTA Kawasaki single end LRV.

The plastic model is very well detailed and painted. And it reminds us again that this degree of detail is not (yet) possible in 3D printing, at least for a reasonable price ...

It is still a display model (made for SEPTA), but it is not destined to remain in this condition. Trolleys are made for rolling ...
